Welcome to La Casa del Tomo, your Roman retreat in the heart of the Aurelio district, just minutes from the Vatican and the historic center of Rome.
This is more than just a place to stay — it’s a space designed to make you feel truly welcomed, heard, and at ease.
Our home is lovingly cared for by me, Serena, together with my husband Simone, and our dear nephew Niccolò, who often greets you with a warm smile upon your arrival.
As a small family-run establishment, we take great joy in attending to every detail with passion and care.
For us, each guest is unique, and our goal is to make you feel not just welcomed, but awaited, like friends returning to visit. We hope that when you step into La Casa del Tomo, you can relax, breathe in a warm and authentic atmosphere, and carry with you not only memories but also emotions.
The name “La Casa del Tomo” stems from my deep love for books. Within the apartment, you’ll find a special corner dedicated to reading: our book corner, a small, open library where guests can freely take a book and, if they wish, leave one in exchange.
A simple, spontaneous exchange that allows words to travel from one continent to another.
Over time, this little library has become a symbol of our approach to hospitality: sharing, respect, and freedom of expression.
Our shelves hold volumes in Italian, English, Spanish, German, and perhaps many other languages… because every traveler leaves a piece of themselves and takes a piece of La Casa del Tomo with them.
We await you with open hearts, ready to offer you a comfortable, serene stay filled with small gestures that speak of home.
Serena, Simone, and Niccolò
